If our love journaling and would like to experience how to use it to empower and support yourself consciously, then this group is for you.

Each workshop is limited to 6 participants to create a safe, creative environment to write in and share in discussions. Each week a different topic will be explored through writing. To do this, you will be provided with various writing excercises, approaches and prompts.

"Journal writing, when it becomes a ritual for transformation, is not only life-changing but life expanding                                         --Jen, aimhappy.com

"Journaling is like whispering to one's self and listening at the same time.                            ─ Mina Murray

"Journal writing is a voyage to the interior                        ─ Christina Baldwin

There will be brief discussions about the topic or theme to inspire further different ways of thinking about, perceiving and writing about your experience with the subject and what can be learned from it going forward

"A personal journal is an ideal environment in which to 'become.' It is a perfect place for you to think, feel, discover, expand, remember, and dream
  --Brad Wilcox

"Write because I  don't know what I think until I read what I say                              --Flannery O'Conner

"What a comfort is this journal I tell myself to myself and throw the burden on my book and feel relieved                             --Anne Lister

At the end of each workshop, you will have a better understanding of your emotional experience with an ability to express in words a particular aspect of your life that resonates with that week's topic.

"Whether you're keeping a journal or writing as a meditation, it's the same thing. What's important is you're having a relationship with your mind                                                               --Natalie Goldberg

"We don't need to let go. We just need to recognise what is already gone                   --Suzuki Roshi

"In the journal I do not just express myself more openly than I could to any person; I create myself                          --Susan Sontag

The writing strategies practised each week may provide you with writing in ways that are useful to continue with in your journaling outside the workshop. These approaches to writing through emotions may also add to your healthy coping mechanisms for unpacking and constructively working through challenges and expressing yourself.

Despite the Benefits and the will to write, Most of us don't

Why?

What gets in theWay?
Does it have to?

They do:

  • Not know how to use writing in a therapeutic way
  • Not understanding how the writing process works or how to manage what comes up in their writing practice consciously
  • Have not learnt how to use writing in a safe way that serves you going forward
  • Lack of the necessary support of being able to discuss what they find in writing to fully honour, digest and assimilate the insights

  • Have not realised that they do not have to be a good writer. It is irrelevant to being able to benefit from writing for their wellbeing

If you want to write and feel that it is so much, you have to express then this is perfect for you. The writing for wellbeing services exists to help you overcome the four common blocks of insufficient confidence, support, commitment and fear!

Release yourself from all that you have to Say

Write!

Unblock what is holding you back!

Confidence

"If you hear a voice within you say 'you cannot paint,' then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced.

 --Vincent Van Gogh

"Each time we face our fear, we gain strength, courage, and confidence in the doing

-- Theodore Roosevelt

Fear

"Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy

--Dale Carnegie

"Courage is looking fear right in the eye and saying, ‘Get the hell out of my way, I’ve got things to do.

--Unknown

Unsupported

"Each person has so much power and potential within themselves that needs to be let out. Sometimes they just need a little nudge, a little direction, a little support, a little nudge, a little coaching, and the greatest things can happen?

-- Pete Carroll

Uncommitted

"Without commitment, nothing happens.

--T.D Jakes

"If you make the unconditional commitment to reach your most important goals, if the strength of your decision is sufficient, you will find the way and the power to achieve your goals

--Robert Conkin

To re-member; re-frame and re-create through writing is an effective way to understand ourselves and others. To translate our stories into words is to honour our point of view and process emotional experience. The consequent clarity and release through writing our truth, ideas and message is empowering and facilitates growth.
